Timber-framed adirondack chair

Summer 2014

This scribed adirondack chair was built from timber scraps and ends. I used a combination of French scribing techniques with bubble scribing tools. The chair arms and connecting curvy pieces are cherry; the rest of the chair is easter white pine. For the planking I milled up some cedar logs into slats.

The chair is a thank you gift to Will and Michelle Beemer (directors at Heartwood) for taking me in as an apprentice.
